I didn't expect to have to make this reel on Easte

I didn't expect to have to make this reel on Easter Sunday but here we are.

Operation Transformation was decommissioned following our 4 year campaign:
❌ OT received up to 230k/year in government funding
❌ Never evaluated, participants were never followed up past 8 weeks and they/anyone following it likely regained most of the weight that was lost.
✅ We raised public awareness about its potential harms and proliferation of stigmatising beliefs and images
✅ Public petition that received over 10,000 signatures
✅ Expert Letter signed by 26 healthcare professionals

We never 'trolled' anyone or sent 'nasty' messages to anyone.

It was never about the folk who worked in the show, it was about the fact that it was unevidenced and likely doing more harm than good.
